An engineering-led maintenance company, not a cleaning crew with a squeegee, and not an installer protecting its own workmanship.
Keep every installation we touch performing at its rated potential, through disciplined cleaning, calibrated inspection, and reporting that proves the difference in watts.
Millions of panels have gone up across the region in a decade. Almost nobody is keeping them at output. That gap, between installed capacity and delivered performance, is the entire reason this company exists.
We are independent by design: no installations, no hardware sales, no commissions on replacements. When we report a fault, it's because the data found one.
Every claim we make is a number we captured on your site: output, temperature, torque.
Before and after photographs on every job. If it isn't documented, it didn't happen.
Harnessed, insured, and drone-first on roofs that shouldn't carry foot traffic.
Itemised quotes against measured scope. No published thumbsuck rates, no padding.
Tyrell Solar Technologies is founded and led by Isheanesu Makhuza, a mechanical design engineer (Candidate Engineer, ECSA) with a background spanning marine structures, HVAC and performance systems.
That background is the point: solar maintenance is treated here as an engineering discipline. Measurement, tolerance, documentation. Not a wash-and-go service.
On site · Cape TownTyrell Solar Technologies is a fully registered and insured company whose technicians are certified by the International Solar Cleaning Academy (ISCA), the most widely held and recognised proof of quality-assured training for solar panel cleaners in the world. ISCA certification treats panel cleaning as what it really is, work at height in a live electrical environment, and covers PV hazards, safe methods of work and risk assessment around live systems.
The company complies with South African Occupational Health and Safety regulations and requirements, works under documented method statements and fall protection plans, and is 100% Black woman owned and a B-BBEE Level 1 Contributor. Through our compliance, we bring our clients peace of mind on every site. Based in Cape Town, the company serves the Western Cape and takes on regional work across Southern Africa by arrangement, including Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and Malawi.

Every business claims to support "sustainability." Here is exactly which of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals our actual day-to-day work moves the needle on, and why, not a general statement of support.
